Tigh-Bàta - the Boathouse - is found over the Fairy Bridge in the magical Waternish area of North West Skye and is positioned on the edge of Loch Bay with beautiful views across the Loch to Dunvegan and Lewis and Harris. The scenery around the house is stunning whether sunny or rainy. From the beautiful Sunrises to stunning Sunsets, the views will captivate you.

We spent 18 months building on the site of an Old Fish Farm and Tigh-Bàta is a modern, comfortable and luxurious house which is ideal for one family or two/ three families depending on the numbers. The house can comfortably sleep 10 people.

Accommodation comprises, on the first floor, Family Bathroom, 4 Bedrooms including Master Bedroom with En-suite Shower room and patio doors opening onto a balcony. The ground floor comprises a large open plan Kitchen/Dining Living Room that has a wood burning stove and two sets of patio doors opening directly onto a balcony and a large decking area. From here you can watch the sunrise and sunset, the wildlife and the Atlantic Ocean. You can almost dip your toes in the sea at high tide!! We have seen Otters playing on the shore, Dolphins swimming past and Eagles swooping overhead. Also on the ground floor is a large utility room with WC and shower, and a playroom which can be used as either another lounge or a double bedroom.
